Luis Armando is Managing Partner at MXC Capital, and has more than 32 years of experience in the financial sector, including: investment banking, corporate/commercial banking and Portfolio Manager.
Before founding MXC Capital, he served as CEO of Banco Actinver, scaling the bank's credit portfolio from $1,000 million pesos to $20,000 million pesos and the annual income of the transactional business unit from $100 million pesos to $700 million pesos. During his tenure at Actinver, the bank rose to first place in the 2014 league table, positioning the group as one of the undisputed leaders in public market transactions.
He has previous experience as Director of Institutional Sales of Grupo Financiero Santander México and Grupo Financiero IXE and, previously, he served as Portfolio Manager of Afore XXI, the largest pension fund in Mexico, and president of the investment committee of AMAFORE (Association Mexican Pension Fund).
